Airfares online with Vayama

To mesh with a Greek Isles cruise in September ’07, I spent months on the Internet looking for an open-jaw airfare from San Diego to Istanbul with return from Athens to San Diego.

I would like to highly recommend Vayama (www.vayama.com) for booking international flights. Through this site I found the best price: $929 + $119.61 tax + $10 fee for a total of $1,058.61. It was on Delta Airlines and there was one stop in each direction. It was my first experience using this site.

After my flight purchase was confirmed through www.vayama.com, I called Delta’s customer service and was able to reserve my seats.

After my return, I did get credited the frequent-flyer miles.

Comparing my fare with what I could find on other travel search websites (Orbitz, SideStep, Kayak, etc.), when sorting by price I found listings of more expensive flights each with two stops.
