CDG-to-Paris transfers

From a visit in early October ’08, I believe I have finally found the best way to get to Paris and back from the confusing Charles de Gaulle International Airport arrivals/departures “terminals.”

By all means, avoid the buses and the still-inconvenient Roissy Rail connection and use Airport Van (103 rue Villiers de l’Isle Adam, 75020 Paris, France; phone +33 0 153 39 1818, fax 39 1313, www.airportvan.com).

At last, a prompt and reliable service that operates 21 vans in and out of the city not only to de Gaulle but to Paris-Orly airport! You can COUNT on it!

At de Gaulle, they are usually parked in front of International Arrivals Building 2B, or they can be called from the arrivals hall. Currently, the point-to-point fare between CDG Airport and Paris is €27 (near $34).
