Public transport guides

Michael Brein’s “Travel by the Metro” series of 4"x9" foldable guides helps travelers sightsee in major cities using public transportation. Listing must-see attractions plus the nearest metro stations and directions on which lines to take, the guides now cover  Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Lisbon, London, Madrid, Munich, Paris, Prague, Rome, Sydney or Vienna. Printed guides cost $10 each and a PDF downloadable guide costs $8.

Two guides, “London Envi” and “Paris Envi,” are made for use with the iPhone or iPod Touch. Each offers the same content as the written version but includes the ability to view an attraction’s location as well as the viewer’s own via iPhone’s “Maps” application. These two are available for $1.99 only through the App Store on iTunes (www.apple.com/itunes).
