Guide in Rio

My husband and I had 10 hours between disembarking a cruise ship in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and a late flight to Miami on Dec. 10, 2009.

On the Internet we had found a wonderful guide, whom we highly recommend: Nestor Silva (from the US, phone 646/736-7899 and the call will be forwarded to Brazil). Having studied in New York, he speaks idiomatic English.

We had been to Rio before and had done all the “must sees,” so he worked with us to put together a full, 10-hour tour of lesser-known places. Our cost for the two of us was BRL750 (about $412). We recommend him without reservation.
