Tokyo Imperial Palace

The East Gardens of the Imperial Palace in Tokyo now can be visited on a free, 2-hour English-language walking tour offered by the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) and the Tokyo Systematized Goodwill Guides (SGG) Club.

Tours start at 1 p.m. Wed., Sat. and Sun. from the JNTO Tourist Information Center (1st Floor, Shin-Tokyo Bldg., 3-3-1 Marunouchi Chioyda-ku, Tokyo 100-0005, Japan; phone +81 3 3201 3331, www.jnto.go.jp/eng).
