Iran flash flood

Flash flooding in southern Iran killed 19 people and injured more than 100 others on March 26. Hardest hit was the historical city of Shiraz, where hundreds of buildings and roads were damaged. The flooding occurred during the Persian New Year, so many businesses and government facilities were closed, meaning that fewer people were on the streets.
