Royal Scotsman?

<p>Have you ever taken "The Royal Scotsman"? Did you like it? did you think it was worth it? Do you have any recommendations re places to stay at the beginning or end of the route, or any other comments on your experience aboard the train? It sounds odd, but my travel companion has limited vision: does the train go slowly enough, at least part of the route, to be able to take in the view? </p>
