Travel in Malaysia is very easy, you don't need a guide. The long distance buses are very good, and there are also trains, although not to as many places. If you don't know where you want to go, why are you going there? Start with one of the glossy picture guidebooks. I went to Melaka, K.L., Cameron Highlands, Kuala Kangsar, Kota Bharu and Perhentian Besar, but that doesn't mean you should, I don't know what interests you.
