<p>We are planning a Fall trip to southern Spain, Andalucia and perhaps Extremedura. Has anyone had an outstanding tour guide or company that they might recommend?</p>

Look at Insiders Spain
Hello: there is a good family-owned company called Insiders Spain (www.insidersspain.com) which is based in Granada. They run their own tours, and can also arrange just about anything in Spain for you. The owners are friendly, accountable and willing to work with individual requests. They were my guides in northern Spain a few years ago and it was a very good experience.
