Tour agency for Taiwan?

<p>Seeking recommendations for a tour agency to put together a short visit (first time) to Taiwan as a pre-trip to a&nbsp;longer tour in Indonesia.&nbsp; Older adult who wants to focus on culture and history.&nbsp; Thanks.</p>

I did not find anyone doing tours to Taiwan when I visited in 2010. However, I had no difficulty traveling there independently (and no, I do not speak Mandarin).

Edison Travel Service at http://www.edison.com.tw offers 14 sightseeing tours in Taiwan ranging from half-day to 5 days (4 nights).  Haven't taken them personally, but I picked up their brochure at my Taipei hotel last spring on my two-week escorted tour of Taiwan with the excellent British-based company The Oriental Caravan.  I believe that Edison Travel Service is exactly what you are looking for.

Worked with them on two separate trips. February 2015 and Nov 2015. Would use again...
