Safe transport from Salvador, El Salvador from airport

I suggest that you email your hotel and ask them to arrange for a hotel vehicle to meet you outside of customs in the terminal building with a sign with your name on it. Also carry the hotel's phone number in a convenient place in case you don't find the sign for whatever reason (if your flight is delayed, for example).
Otherwise, you could contact Mercedes Duque of Servi-Viajes (www.serviviajes.net; email: ventas@serviviajes.net; fax: 503-2528-9090). She arranged a week's visit to El Salvador for me in February 2007; she's a charming woman whom I recommend unreservedly for any travel you'd like to arrange.
