Amsterdam Hotel

Josie, for an unknown reason, I could not get the 'comment' link to work for your query. Last May I stayed at the Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel, Kattengat 1, Amsterdam. It is a comfortable hotel well located near Centraal Station, tram lines, and ferries. My stay was booked through Viking as a pre-trip stay so I'm not sure how its rates compare. But the location is on a quiet side street and superbly located. While there, we found the nearby Ava Cyril Italiaans Restaurant to be a cozy local restaurant with huge portions so, if with a friend, you might want to share. Enjoy!
