<p>My wife and I will ending a cruise in Dubai on the 7th of November and won't be flying home until the 11th.  Any suggestions for hotels and sightseeing greatly appreciated.</p><p>Terrypilot</p>

I second the hop-on-hop-off bus. I used it for my 1st trip to Dubai. I only had one day and I wanted to see as much as possible. I think it would be more useful to purchase a 2 day ticket, because there were times that you had to choose between included tours. I used Arabian Adventures the last time I was in the UAE for a day tour to the Eastern Coast, mainly Sharjah and Fujairah. I had wanted to do a day trip to Abu Dhabi, but I was only there for one day, a Friday. The Eastern Coast was the only day tour to any of the other emirates given on a Friday.I have stayed at the Al Manzil Hotel three times. It is very convenient, next to the Dubai Mall in downtown Dubai. Rooms with a view of the Burj Khalifa are available and I thought worth the extra charge. However, it is nowhere near the beaches if that is what you are interested in.I also stayed at the airport Premier Inn on the way back home because I had an overnight connection. It was fine for the 10 hour layover, but I wouldn't stay there for more than that.
