Hotel or apartment in London

I will be visiting London next April or May and would like to hear recommendations about hotels/apartments for my stay. It would be best if the accomodation were near a tube stop and a park. Many Thanks for your experiences.

I stayed in Chelsea last summer, good apartment in Chelsea,near bus and shops, and not too far from tube. Not near park I don't think. e-mail wonderfulchelsea@aol.com

When we travel to London we always stay at the Arosfa Hotel. It is a B&B, family operated, and well maintained. They are located in the Bloomsbury district, across the street from an excellent bookstore.
