We will be in Florence next Friday for 3 nights. Our budget is about 90 to 100 Euros max per night. Less would be nice. Does any one have experience with a good hotel near the train stop. Also I would love to talk to you about getting around in Florence.
We go to LA Spezia from here then back to Rome for 3 nights. WE booked the Marys hotel in La Spezia, hopefully its a good one. I just joined and look forward to the next meeting. My next trip will be Prague and Switzerland in August. Greg G.

Best way to get around Florence/Firenze is to walk. Small city so easy to do. Try looking at http://www.venere.com/italy/florence/ for hotels.
