It's been decades, but the memories remain vivid. I trekked the Annapurna Valley outside Pokara November 1990 -- so my views are very dated. However, then the sunrises and sunsets were amazing. Although I am not a morning person, I soon found myself among the first out of tents in the morning to enjoy the tranquility and amazing beauty of sunrise over the mountains as the world came alive for the day. My Nepal trek remains among the best travel experiences of my life! Hopefully, your experience there will equal mine. Enjoy!

I visited Nepal as part of a trip to Bhutan in late October - early November 2010. The weather was fantastic, very clear. I'm not a photographer by any means and I have a small point and shoot, but my photos have the bluest skies. And the flight from Paro back to Kathmandu was amazing, the Himalayas were so visible. I believe the flight attendant said we were seeing 7 of the 8 highest mountains in the world, including Everest of course.
November was a good time...
