We're considering a Globus trip to Newfoundland & Labrador for Sept. 2013. Has anyone been on a similar trip? Also found a Canadian company, www.atlantictours.com, that might be a possibility. Would appreciate any comments re either of them (or perhaps another company). Thanks.

I did take the Globus tour of Newfoundland & Labrador in August, 2009. I was pleased with the tour guide, hotels, meals and itinerary. The weather could have been better but did not affect our touring. The bus was full but very comfortable. Also the price was very good at that time. I had looked at Cosmos and other companys, but, for value Globus did a great job.

Absolutely cannot imagine not using Wildland Tours 888-615-8279--ask for Ann Simmons or Dave the owner.
Oldest, locally owned and staffed.
Small, intimate group of 8, mostly Canadians--great folks.
Guides knew local folks in route to give heads-up as to best time of day/location for sightings.
You will have a great time... But check with them about weather conditions vs a month earlier...
