<p>My husband and I will be traveling to Northern Italy next June. We would like to see Venice, Lake Como,etc. What suggestions would you have for a 2 week period.</p><p> </p>

You might buy Rick Steves travel guide on Italy for starters, he has a lot of information available.You should identify what your interests are or have an idea what it is you want to do.

My suggestion is rent an apartment in Florence and use the Italo high-speed train to travel to Venice to Milan to Rome to anywhere else with the train connections. 1 hour + to Venice leave early stay the day and save hotel And so on.
