20 years ago traveled Vietnam with Sinh Cafe. They managed everything and it was great experience. Upon planning a future trip I have been UNSUCCESSFUL in trying to reach them. Emails over several days bounce back as undeliverable. Skype phone calls are answered but I am told they cannot arrange a trip, I must do it thru the website. My one attempt was unanswered. ANYONE had any success dealing with them or IS IT NO LONGER WORTH THE TROUBLE??? Also, are they parthers with Sinh Cafe in Hanoi??
In addition, anyone visiting the SAPA region have a recommendation on whether to spend 1,2,3 days there? The market, of course, and a couple hill tribes. But what is this soft trekking I have read about? In great health, athletic, but with 70 yr old knees what are the conditions?
Thanks,
Gregg

Ann Tours
A few months ago I posted a similar question on this board about visiting Sapa and received info on a company called Ann Tours (www.anntours.com). I did some research and people seem to be pleased with their services. The director is Tony Wong and I was impressed with the itinerary he planned for me (easy trekking, market days, village visits) and how easy it was to deal with him. His company takes credit cards so it is easy to transfer money. He asks for 50% deposit and the rest upon arrival. In addition to time in Sapa, he organized a 3 day Halong Bay trip and time in Hanoi and HCM.
Sinh Cafe in HCMC
There are many Sinh Cafes in Vietnam. I think the one and only original Sinh Cafe will forever remain a mystery in Vietnam as nearly all Sinh Cafe operators which you will encounter in Vietnam claims they are the original ones.
