<p>A group of 6 travelers would like the name and contact information of a driver/guide for a private tour of Turkey in the Fall of 2011. We would have input into the itinerary. </p>

I used Bitinya Tours in Istanbul for a five day custom trip before a group tour- they provided good service, a comfortable car and an excellent guide.

i was surprised when I saw the prices now for tours in Turkey. When I was there it was the last great travel bargain like some of us still remember Europe on Five Dollars a Day. They have gotton prosperous and now are on level with many part of the developed world price wise. Having recently been across the globe in some far flung places, it is interesting to see most comparable items cost as much as they do in the US. Only real bargain was a delightful Muslim dinner in Kotakinabalu, Borneo at a modern port development complex - dinner for two, everything we wanted was still only $6 total. But everything else was similar in price. The world has become a single economy.

Mehmet is the best tour agent I have ever worked with. I know because I'm a world traveler myself.He was there every step of the way! The trip would never have happened had Mehmet not been the fabulous person that he is! The entire company is utterly fantastic and has received rave reviews on Tripadvisor as well as many other sites. I would definitely recommend you contact them! We had a private tour with 6 of us, our own fabulous guide, mini van and driver. We could not have asked for more! Hope this helps!!!!!!!! You won't be sorry!!! We did not feel that the prices were high in Turkey. We got great bargains for the US dollar. Have fun!
