guides in selected eastern Mediterranean locations

We are traveling on Oceania's Sands of Time cruise in November and would like to work with local guides in each port of call. We would like recommendations from folks who have used these guides. We are 2 couples and would like a gudie with a vehicle that holds 4 comfortably, e.g., a min van. In Ephesus we are considering Denizhan with Tours by locals. less than a full day In Ashdod/Haifa --Guy Tours--equivalent of almost 3 full days In Rhodes --Nicholas and assoc. (Rhodes Taxi Service) a long half day. Any experience with any of these? We dock in Piraeus and will need transport to our hotel and then a full day tour of Athens, next day full day for Delphi and then a third day that is open. Most of the taxi operators all have Mercedes E cars which will be small for 4 people. Any suggestions? We welcome any feedback on any of the questions/locations above. We also stop in Crete, Limassol Cyprus and Patmos and Volos. Any suggestions on those would likewise, be very appreciated. Thanks. Larry
